Water is seeping uncontrollably into the damaged nuclear waste repository at Asse. Thousands of barrels filled with radioactive waste are rusting away, while just a few dozen miners try to save what can hardly be saved. For the first time, miners at Asse speak out with unusual candor in front of the camera, revealing unknown insights into the absurd daily reality of a task for humankind that past generations have left behind.
